Uploading Content from your Tray/Mobile Device
This article explains how to upload media you already have on your mobile device instead of recording content through the Cyrano mobile app. There are several ways you can accomplish this.
Uploading Media to Cyrano from your Photo Library
If you wish to upload one or several video/audio files from your photo library, here are the steps you need to take:
Open your photo library on your mobile device, tap “Select” in the top right corner of the screen, and select one or more video/audio files that you wish to upload.
Once you have selected all of them, tap the Share [icon color=”Accent-Color” size=”small” icon_size=”” image=”fa-external-link”] icon at the bottom of the phone screen. This will bring up a list of applications on your phone to which you can share the videos. Scroll through them until you see the Cyrano app icon and tap it. Your files will begin preparing to upload into Cyrano.
This will open up the Cyrano mobile app and you will be taken to the following screen that displays all the files you shared to Cyrano. Once you have made sure all the files are there, click “Next” in the top right hand corner of the screen.
This will then allow you to name your media uploads if you choose. After you have named the uploads if you want, tap Upload, or just tap Skip. Your media will now be uploaded into Cyrano for your use and can be found in the Your Media grid.
Uploading media through Cyrano
Here are the steps to upload media from your mobile phone. The process is the same for Your Media, Quick Record, Quick Message. When creating Programs, upload your desired media using Your Media before creating your program.
- On your recording screen click on the Library tab at the bottom of your screen
- This will bring up the option to go to your phone’s video/photo library. Select this choice
- Scroll through the videos and or photos you have on your phone and select which one you want to use
